Using Neat Scanner Without Any Software

You can scan your documents using Neat Scanner Software without installing any Neat software by using Windows Fax and Scan. To use this method to scan your documents, read through our comprehensive guide and follow the steps exactly.

Let’s start:

  1. To begin, go to your laptop's Windows Fax and Scan option. It's a built-in feature that works across all platforms. In the Windows search bar, select Window Fax and Scan to open it.
  2. You'll see a window with two options: scan into the Fax or Scan Utility, or scan to documents. Choose the choice that you are most comfortable with.
  3. Now go to Tools and select Scan Routing and Scan Settings from the drop-down menu. To edit your scanner profile settings, go to scan settings.
  4. The scan profiles will be shown in a new window. Then choose the profile that corresponds to your scanner model.
  5. You may make adjustments here, such as choosing a color such as black or white, adjusting the resolution, or even selecting a new file type, depending on your needs. When you've finished making all of your updates, press Save Profile.
  6. When you're done, press the New Scan button in the top left corner of the displayed screen.
  7. If you need to make any additional changes, such as rotating the picture, right-click on it and choose the first choice View. You'll see two arrow options below the image, which you can use to rotate the image to your liking.
  8. When you've finished working on your picture, go to File and then Exit.
  9. You've finished the operation. Your photo has been scanned.
